A Woman Grows an Ear
A woman named Sharey Walter was a cancer patient who had an un usual case. On October 1, 2012 at 6:52 Eastern Time it was discovered that she had an ear growing on her arm. Doctors at John Hopkins in Atlanta used her tissue to an ear on her arm. She had bad cancer in her ear, and the doctors put a mold the shape of an ear in her arm and let it form for four months. When she went for her checkup her skin and tissue covered the mold completely. They took the ear off her arm and attached it to her head. Not only did they reattach the ear, but the ear worked just as well as any other ear would. It was said that she went from no hearing to perfect hearing.
This was a an incredible leap in medical history, not too often do you hear about someone growing a body part, removing it and reattached it to another part of the body. I find this to be a very interesting also simply because it is not only a surgery, but in a way it's also a cure for cancer. The doctors at John Hopkins are brilliant for even thinking to try something like this. I admire the determination that it takes for them to try this. I also admire the courage of the young lady that went through with this. In this case, things seemed to work out through science for the better.

Why do Nice Guys Finish Last
Guys are said to be in a class of their own; they are said
to be rude, sex hungry, extensively aggressive, obnoxious and above all, liars.
There are a lot of guys who sadly fulfill this stereotype. Once you have met
one, you have met them all, right? Wrong. There are two sides to everything. I
come from the strong belief that everyone is his or her own person. There are
many guys who are thrown into this stereotype without being given a fair
chance. I guess in the world today, nice guys really do finish last. It is a
constant struggle to keep hope alive for guys who are actually ambitious, kind,
hardworking, and care about more than just that next one night stand. I believe
that a lot more females would find themselves happier long-term if they would
stop being close-minded and give these guys the time of day. You may have to
stick out through a few things, but in the end, you will know that I was all
worth it. Gentlemen, this is the time to stand up and take charge. Getting even
the potential woman of your dreams takes time and effort. Women, stop being so
quick to jump on the guy that see you as nothing more than a great lay, take
the time to observe the situation, and make a smarter decision. This article
was written for guys who seem to always get overlooked or looked down upon by
the female that they like or love. It was also written simply to ask females to
open their eyes and for once, give the good guys a chance. If people would look
outside of themselves then as a society, we can progress to better things. I take my writing seriouly and I would appreciate any and all feedback, Thank You.

The Essence of Emotion
When people are called emotional, what does it really mean? Are emotions a bad thing? People seem to think so because they will ask, "Why are you being so emotional?" When you have passion it often means that you believe in something. Many people fail to realize that emotions are fueled by passion. When you put your heart and soul into something, just to lose, have it torn down, destroyed, or flat out told that it's no good, it is mentally and sometimes physically fatiguing. Most people are unaware that some of the most emotional people are football players. All people get to see is the tough outer exterior which displays toughness, strength, power, speed, etc... A lot of them have a drive that can't be competed with. Old football films will show that after losing a game some would even go to the locker room and cry about the loss. Are they being emotional babies? No, they just have the overwhelming passion and desire to be great. If you think being emotional is bad you might need a slight reality check of your own. The next time someone tells you that you are emotional take pride in the fact that you are passionate and you will fight for what you believe in.
